Can You Sell Unused Dexcom G7 Sensors?

· 4 min read

Yes — sealed, unexpired Dexcom G7 sensors that you no longer need can generally be sold. They are one of the most common items brought into our Louisville office, usually after an insurance change or a switch to a different monitor.

What buyers check on a G7 box

  • The factory seal is intact and the box has not been opened.
  • The expiration date leaves a comfortable window, not a few weeks.
  • The packaging is clean — light shelf wear is fine, crushing is not.
  • The REF number is readable, since different packs are valued differently.

Do you need the shipping carton?

No. The outer carton your pharmacy or supplier shipped in is not needed. What matters is the sealed sensor packaging itself.

What about G6?

G6 sensors, transmitters and receivers are still purchased as well. If you are cleaning out a cabinet, bring both generations in the same visit rather than sorting them yourself.
