First, confirm you truly do not need them
Only sell supplies that are genuinely surplus and not part of anyone's ongoing care. If there is any chance you will return to pod therapy, hold onto them.
What affects whether pods can be sold
- Sealed packs only — the manufacturer packaging must be intact.
- Expiration date, with longer dating carrying more value.
- Packaging type: retail and DME boxes are handled differently.
- Overall condition of the outer carton.
Selling locally versus mailing
Mail-in buyers ask you to ship first and settle later. Selling at a local office means the inspection happens in front of you and you are paid the same visit — which is how our Louisville office handles Omnipod packs.
